Purnima Shrestha, Guinness World Record Holder, Joins Satori Adventures Everest Expedition 2026!

Satori Adventures made an announced on February 3, 2026, that record-breaking climber Purnima Shrestha will lead/assist our Everest Expedition 2026.

We are proud and thrilled to share that her extraordinary and historic achievement in Spring 2024 – becoming the first woman in the world to summit Everest three times in a single season within just thirteen days – received global recognition now.

The certificate awarded to honor Purnima Shrestha on March 8, in celebration of International Women’s Day, by the Guinness Book of World Records reads: “The most ascents of Everest in one season by a woman is three, achieved by Purnima Shrestha (Nepal), who climbed from the south side of the world's highest mountain on May 12, 19, and 25, 2024.”

Shortly after her global recognition she shared her success with Satori Adventures and said that this recognition has inspired her to continue pushing boundaries in mountaineering. Extending her Women’s Day wishes, she said, “May every woman who dreams be able to climb all seemingly impossible peaks of success with firm resolve, courage, and continuous hard work.” (Ratopati).
